Prawns Eillan a Cleod Recipe from


1 oz butter

6 oz peeled raw prawns

2 oz onion, finely chopped

2 oz fresh white mushrooms, sliced

¼ red pepper, finely chopped

salt and pepper

1 measure Drambuie

2 fl oz double cream

2 oz long grain rice

1 lemon, cut into wedges

parsley sprigs and a few king prawns to decorate


 1. Boil the rice in plenty of salted water until cooked

2. Meanwhile melt the butter sauté the prawns, onions and peppers. When the onions are almost cooked add the mushrooms and Drambuie

3. Season and add the cream. Serve on a bed of rice, topped with king prawns, lemon wedges and parsley sprigs
